As per jeo news some kidnapers kidnapped some persons and hide in peerchambal area Distt. chakwal. now operation is being held and 5 ishtaries / kidnapers deed.but til now no one released. Rawalpindi and chakwal police along with Pakistan army aviation helicopters are involved in this operation. CHAKWAL: Five dangerous proclaimed offenders were killed by police in an armed counter near village Pir Chambel in the border area of Chakwal District. More than 10 accused kidnapped incharge security of Gharibwall cement factory and two others servants and took them in the hilly area of salt range. The Pakistani nation across the country is celebrating its 46th Defense Day in memory of martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the country. A smartly turned contingent of cadets of PAF Academy Risalpur on Tuesday took guard's duties at the mausoleum of founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, to commemorate Defence Day of Pakistan.Air Officer Commanding PAF Academy Risalpur, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Raza, who was the chief guest, inspected guard of honour.He also laid floral wreath, offered fateha and recorded his impressions in the visitors' book. This village has great importance from historical point of view. Dulmial was in district jhelum but presently it is in district Chakwal. In the 2nd world war about 500 men participated from this village. This was the only village in Asia which was awarded by the gun. There is a famous saying that every second person of area is a soldier (and every third one is a poet). The only option available to the spirited and rugged people of the area famous for martial traditions was service in the armed forces. An actual artillery gun -- awarded to a valiant soldier Subedar Gul Muhammad of Dulmial in the First World War mounted on a platform in front of his village is testimony to the fact. The gun is one of the only two such awards in the world.

General Muhammed Akbar Khan OBE served as a British Indian recruit in the First World War and an officer in Second World War. He was the first Muslim from the Indian subcontinent to become a General in British Indian Army. At the time of the partition of India, he was the most senior Muslim General. He also served as the first ADC of the Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammed Ali Jinnah. Muhammed Akbar Khan belonged to the Minhas Rajput clan of Chakwal.
