The health mela (festival) arranged by UNFPA at District Headquarters Hospital in Chakwal. Addressing the concluding ceremony, Member of Punjab Assembly Ifat Liaqat called for creating awareness among women about maternity matters, adding that the participation of a large number of women at the health festival was an encouraging sign. UNFPA Programme Officer, Dr. Arifa Alvi, said more such ceremonies would be arranged in the days to come to create awareness about mother-child health. Read: Dawn
