Dengue fever under control in Chakwal

CHAKWAL, Six cases of Dengue fever was tested positive in Cahkwal and due to second round of spray of chemicals the dengue virus is controlled considerably.

However simple fever gripped the whole District and most of the patients were caught with Malaria and other fever. Those tested positive of Dengue fever are Muhammad Usman son of Muhammad Rafique resident of village Dhudial, Iftikhar Ahmad son of Ghulam Sarwar resident of Chakwal, Adeeba daughter of Amir Khan resident of village Dhudial, Rozina wife of Farhat Hussain resident of village Dhudial and Muhamamd Sadiq son of Shamim resident of village Dhudial as these five were tested at Holy Family Hospital at Rawalpindi while Farzana resident of village Dhudial case was sent to the Laboratory by the local Health Department and it was tested positive. EDO Health Doctor Arshad Ali Sabir told on Monday that the second round of chemical spray as the affected 17 union councils have been started and due to this effort Dengue virus is controlled considerably; however he told that the affect the Dengue virus would remain for one month. He further told that 11 cases of Dengue were found at Rawalpindi and 19 at Islamabad. He claimed that the situation in Chakwal District was well under control and there was no need of any harassment among the people as there was no danger of any death due to dengue fever.
