CHAKWAL: Three people, including a woman, were killed and 10 others injured in an accident on Chakwal-Rawalpindi Road near Dhoke Karam Shah village on Thursday.
A van (LWC-3046) was coming to the city from Rawalpindi when its tyre burst and it overturned due to overspeeding. As a result, Hammad Husnain and an unidentified woman were killed on the spot while Abid Mehmood, Muhammad Amir, Ahmad Din, Muhammad Younis, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Zahoor an employ of zila council chakwal and Sajid Hussain were injured. The injured passengers were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital where Abid Mehmood died. The Sadr police have registered a case and started investigations.
